Why Study Enforcement

REALTORS should study the Code of Ethics to understand the enforcement process so that they are prepared for any of these situations:

  • They are accused of unethical conduct.
  • They believe another REALTOR has behaved unethically and they wish to file an ethics complaint.
  • Another REALTOR requests arbitration against them for a disputed commission.

They wish to request arbitration against another REALTOR for a disputed commission.
