Only Articles of the Code of Ethics can be cited in an ethics complaint; however, a Stand of Practice may be cited to support the charge. For example, Article 3. Standard of Practice 3-8 states:
“REALTORS shall not misrepresent the availability of access to show or inspect a listed property.”
