Let’s now look at some scenarios involving REALTOR Allen and REALTOR Rosa to determine if arbitration is an option.
- Allen paints houses part-time. Rosa hired him to paint her house, but he did not perform as promised and Rosa refused to pay him.
- Rosa discovers that Allen sold a property to a client of hers. Rosa believes that she, not Allen, was the procuring cause of the sale. She is upset because she did not receive any commission.
