Need for the Code of Ethics

The sale of real estate is a business built upon referrals from satisfied clients and customers. Obviously, the key to satisfied customers is to treat them honestly, fairly, and ethically. All real estate practitioners-whether just licensees or licensees or licensees who are REALTORS-should strive to understand ethical decision making and demonstrate ethical behavior in their practice.

NOTE: The code of Ethics differentiates REALTORS from non-member licensees.
