Duties to Clients and Customers (Part 1 of 2)

Articles 1-9 are identified in the Code of Ethics as “Duties to Clients and Customers” and are summarized as follows:

 

  • Article 1 – Be honest; represent your client but be honest to all.
  • Article 2 – Avoid exaggeration or misrepresentation; disclose best interest; be honest about compensation being offered.
  • Article 3 – Cooperate with other REALTORS when in your client’s best interest; be honest about compensation being offered.
  • Article 4 – Make you true position known when buying, leasing, or presenting offers on behalf of yourself or your immediate family.
