Why Study the Code of Ethics?

  • Beginning in 2016, The National Association of REALTORS requires REALTORS to take a Code of Ethics course every two (2) years.
  • The correlation between license law and the Code of Ethics is not accidental; studying the Code reinforces correct behavior of licensees.
  • The Code of Ethics changes annually and REALTORS need to be informed of changes.
